Independent family jeweller Pravins has been announced as the headline sponsor of City Hospice’s Sparkle Walk, a night-time memory walk taking place later this month.
Founded in 1969, Pravins is a family-owned luxury jeweller, known for its personalised, VIP-style customer service and specialised diamond and gemstone collections. The jeweller has had a presence in Cardiff’s city centre for over 40 years, providing high-quality jewellery including bespoke engagement, wedding and eternity rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces and luxury gifts.

This year’s Sparkle Walk, hosted by Capital FM’s Josh and Kally, will see hundreds of participants take on a new route for the first time, moving from Llandaff and Whitchurch to the scenic setting of Cardiff Bay. The event on 18 September will begin and end at Tiger Yard, with participants having the choice to complete a 5km or the full 10km route.
A special feature this year will be a pause at the Cardiff Bay Barrage, offering a moment to reflect on memories of loved ones supported by City Hospice.
All funds raised at this event will support the charity which is the only provider of home-based specialist palliative care in Cardiff. The charity not only supports patients across the capital with vital care and services including welfare advice and complementary therapies, but also extends care to their families through counselling and bereavement support services.
