Thursday 7th September saw the opening of Proud Mary Swansea, the city’s newest venue on Wind Street. The opening followed a £1.7m transformation by operators, REKOM. Over the opening weekend, 7,000 visitors walked through the doors and over 20,000 drinks were sold.

Operating over two floors, Proud Mary Pub has a capacity of 880 and is open from 12 noon daily (closing 2am Sunday to Thursday and 3am Friday and Saturday). With a range of weekly events, including student nights and pub quizzes, Proud Mary Swansea also hosts regular live music events at the weekend. There are 10 TV screens of various sizes showing key sporting fixtures as well as a projector, so guests don’t miss any of the action.

Proud Mary Swansea is the eighth Proud Mary Pub. Other locations include Denmark, Finland and Norway, with Cardiff and Swansea being the first locations in the UK.
