Quantum Advisory is inviting charity supporters to join them at a gala fundraiser at Celtic Manor, which was rescheduled because of last week’s extreme snow.

A total of 50 of the intended 200 guests are unable to make the new date of Friday, March 16th, and while the Cardiff-based financial services business will proceed with the postponed black-tie event, the team is keen to raise as much money as possible for its charity, Sully-based children’s hospice Tŷ Hafan.

Welsh Rugby Union legend Paul Thorburn will host and Big Mac’s Wholly Soul Band will provide additional entertainment at the event, which is also being held to mark the company reaching a 100-staff milestone. All funds raised from the evening’s raffle and auction will be in aid of the hospice.

Last year Quantum Advisory presented Tŷ Hafan with £11,000, which covers a day’s running costs for the unique support services the charity provides. This was raised through a year-long series of cake sales, quizzes, rugby sweepstakes, dress down days and a 51km walk, which raised £7,740 alone.

Tickets to the dinner are £55 each and Stuart Price, Partner at Quantum Advisory, said: “Our guests were really looking forward to the fundraiser as much as we were and we were disappointed to have to postpone at the 11th hour. However, we had to consider safety as a priority, of course. We are keen to fill up the room to a similar number that we previously had and to really make the event success.”

Natalie Whyatt, Corporate Partnership Manager for Tŷ Hafan, added: “We are very grateful to Quantum Advisory for all their support and the event promises to be a fantastic one.

“We depend on corporate support from successful Welsh companies like Quantum to ensure we can continue to run our amazing facilities, which include a multi-sensory room, music therapy, art sessions and hydrotherapy while our care team staff take over and allow parents to relax or to simply spend time together as a family.”
