Teen tennis sensation Mimi Xu visited Moneypenny in Wrexham this week, making for an inspiring session of sport, conversation and insight.

Mimi, recently spotlighted for her promising rise through the ranks of British tennis, was interviewed live in the pub area of the Moneypenny building. Hosted by Dave Courteen (Tournament Promoter) the informal Q&A was shared with Moneypenny colleagues who had the opportunity to attend the session in person and see Mimi live. A full recording will be available for everyone to watch too.

After the interview, Mimi was given a tour of the stunning Moneypenny offices, meeting many of the people who make Moneypenny what it is and seeing the operations that power one of the world’s leading customer conversation companies.

Mimi is in Wrexham as part of the upcoming Lexus Wrexham Open, a major women’s tennis tournament held at the Wrexham Tennis and Padel Centre from 21–26 October. The event marks the biggest female tennis event in Wales in decades and Mimi is one of the featured Welsh players to watch.

Jesper With Fogstrup, Group CEO of Moneypenny, said: “We are delighted to support the Lexus Wrexham Open. It is a fantastic opportunity to bring world-class women’s tennis to Wrexham and to celebrate the achievements of Welsh players like Mimi Xu. Supporting this event reflects our commitment to the local community and to initiatives that inspire inclusivity, ambition and excellence, values that are also at the heart of Moneypenny.”
