Emergency services have been called to a collision on the M4 during the Wednesday morning rush hour, causing disruption for drivers heading eastbound.

Traffic Wales confirmed that the incident happened near Junction 24 at Coldra, with emergency services attending the scene.

Motorists travelling eastbound have been warned to expect delays while the incident is dealt with. Drivers are being urged to allow extra time for their journeys and consider alternative routes where possible.

Traffic conditions in the area may remain busy while emergency services work to clear the scene and ensure the road is safe. No further details about those involved have been released at this stage.
