St John Cymru/Wales is proud to announce the admittance of Mr Sam Warburton OBE, as a Member of The Priory for Wales of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem.

The Award is made in the name of HM The Queen, who is Sovereign Head of the Order of St John Worldwide.

As one of St John Wales’ Ambassadors, Sam has shown a keen interest in the charity and over the years has presented Organ Donation Awards to the families from all over Wales who have lost loved ones.

    Sam Warburton said:

“It’s a privilege to receive the honour of becoming a Member of the Order of St Johns. I have been moved and overwhelmed from my experiences with them and it has been an absolute pleasure to play a very small part in their wonderful cause. Long may our relationship continue.”

St John Cymru – Wales’ new Chief Executive, Julia Hobbs, added:

“We are honoured that Sam has given his time and supported our Organ Donation Awards. He is a great Ambassador for St John Cymru and we thank him for his continued support”
