Sana Private Health proudly announces the grand opening of its latest state-of-the-art hospital, a dedicated Cataract Centre of Excellence, in Bridgend. This cutting-edge facility is designed to provide exceptional patient care, focused on continuing to deliver world-class cataract treatment and eye health services to the Bridgend community and beyond, following the success of Sana’s location, where over 1300 patients have been treated since we opened in 2023.

Sana’s new Bridgend location is equipped with the latest advancements in ophthalmic technology alongside a team of specialised, highly skilled surgeons and eye care professionals, aiming to provide the very best cataract treatment with an emphasis on safety, precision, and personalised care, ensuring the best experience for patients from assessment to recovery.

“We are implementing the latest technologies and surgical techniques to ensure better, safer outcomes for our patients. We are really excited to be bringing our proven track record from Swansea to our new hospital in Bridgend.” – Mr. Luke Anderson, Sana Director & Cataract and Glaucoma Specialist.

In addition to its standing as a cataract centre of excellence, the Bridgend hospital will offer eye health assessments, post-surgical follow-up, and a range of specialist eye health treatments and surgeries. Sana will also provide education and resources to support patients and their families in understanding and managing their eye health.
