    Sea2shore food festival returns to Aberystwyth promenade this August

    On Sunday 11 August 2019, Aberystwyth Sea2shore food festival will be held on Aberystwyth promenade. The food festival will be officially opened by the Chairman of Ceredigion County Council, Peter Davies MBE.

    A range of traders offering a variety of quality local produce and many non-food stalls will be present at the festival. As well as food and art and craft stalls there will be a wide range of activities suitable for the whole family.

    Children will have an opportunity to go-cart, have fun on the trampolines, face painting and a variety of other activities.

    Representatives from Penparcau Community Forum and Aberystwyth Rotary Club will be present as well as Dyfed-Powys Police, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, Hywel Dda Health Board Council and representatives from the Coast and Countryside team within the Council.

    Chef demonstrations from Michelin-starred Chef Gareth Ward from Ynys Hir Restaurant & Rooms where he will be demonstrating some of his delectable dishes along with Mandy Walters where she will be showing what to do with fresh shellfish and Padrig Jones from Gwesty Cymru.

    The food festival will commence from 10am until 5pm and is free entry for all to enjoy. For more information, contact Alison Kinsey on 01545 574162.
