Award-winning total waste management firm, Gavin Griffiths Group, has joined forces with local tool hire company, Miles Hire, to form a strategic business-to-business partnership.

Gavin Griffiths Group, an award-winning total waste management firm, has announced a strategic working partnership with tool and plant hire specialists, Miles Hire. In a bid to offer consumers across south Wales a more efficient way to manage all their project needs in one clean sweep, this innovative collaboration unlocks new operational capabilities.

Traditionally, there has been no way for local businesses and homeowners in south Wales to source their waste service and plant hire needs through one accessible avenue, but now, Gavin Griffiths Group and Miles Hire, bridge the gap and deliver the solution to meet this very specific market need – a direct referrals scheme that allows service users to save on both time and money.

Gavin Griffiths, Managing Director of Gavin Griffiths Group, explains: “Groundwork, renovations and industrial projects are commonplace, yet trying to source the plant and tool hire and then finding the correct waste management services to support these projects separately, continues to be a stressful endeavour that takes extra time and costs more money. By linking our businesses, we’re changing the narrative.”

The need for a service like this comes at a critical time as costs rise and businesses look for more cost-effective solutions.

Gavin Griffiths continues: “Our direct-referrals scheme means that when people come to us for waste management services, such as skip hire, muck-away, aggregates, topsoil supplies and our vacuum excavator, we can also connect them to Miles Hire, who can facilitate their plant and tool hire needs at the same time. This not only benefits our customers, but it also supports the local business economy too as it stops the need for people to look outside of the area for a like-for-like service.”

Gavin Griffiths Group has been operational for over 18 years, during which time it has become renowned for its award-winning customer service and vast range of waste, recycling and haulage services.

Miles Hire has recently celebrated its milestone 20th anniversary and has been providing tool and plant hire to customers across south Wales since 2003. Offering an impressive directory of tools for hire, along with plant, access equipment and powered access solutions, Miles Hire operates from three branches based in Swansea, Bridgend and Cardiff. Customers can order quickly and easily through the online digital hire desk.

Ryan Miles, Director of Miles Hire, comments: “Miles Hire are excited about our partnership with Gavin Griffiths Group. Both companies place focus on commitment, excellence and dedication to customer satisfaction and high-quality service. This partnership aligns our values, and it will be instrumental in further success. Together, we’ll deliver exceptional service and solutions and build a stronger, more efficient future.”
