Digital agency Spindogs has strengthened its Board with the appointment of Andy Crisp as Client Services Director.

With a background in marketing and communications, Andy first joined Spindogs in November 2020 having previously worked for specialist tech agency Cohesive Communications. As Client Services Director with Spindogs, he assumes responsibility for all aspects of client delivery and management. He’ll work alongside Managing Director Liam Giles and fellow Board Directors David Morgan, Claire Swindell, Daniel Lewis and Claire Farren plus Non-Executive Director Gareth Lynn.

Employing 68 in offices across Cardiff, Oxford and London, Spindogs recorded strong financial performance in 2020/21 with turnover of £3.4 million This is expected to exceed £4 million in 2021/22. Clients include the Chartered Institute of Housing, Triumph, Coffee#1, University of Oxford – Department of Engineering Science and Transport for Wales with work for global motorcycle brand Harley-Davidson boosting Spindogs’ credentials within the automotive industry.

Celebrating 17 years in business this year, Spindogs has also revealed a new identity and website; reflecting how the business has evolved and the range of digital and creative services now offered.

Managing Director Liam Giles first established the business in 2004. He said: “We’ve worked hard to get to the forefront of the digital market and are proud of the business that we have built, particularly given the difficult trading conditions of the last 18 months.

“With many businesses looking for new ways to adapt, digital has become an integral part of their strategy and we’re working hard to support clients in taking their online presence to the next level. But it’s important that we also keep investing in our own brand and our people hence the new-look website and Andy’s appointment to the Board.

“Andy’s promotion is a reflection of the contribution that he has made over the last year and our commitment to attracting and retaining the very best talent in our industry. Colleagues enjoy working with him, clients respect his knowledge and expertise and as a Board we really value the work that he does.”

Andy Crisp said: “Spindogs is a full-service agency that is absolutely focused on the bigger picture. From brand development to the design of bespoke digital systems, we’ve got a brilliantly talented and creative team and an exciting client portfolio plus a great new look. I couldn’t ask for more.”
