Loungers has opened the doors to Lansio Lounge in Tenby this week, creating around 30 new jobs for the local community.

Located on South Beach, the former Salty’s Beach Bar has been completely reimagined by the Loungers design team.  The transformed space features richly patterned wallpapers, colourful tiling, stripped wooden floors, oversized vintage sofas and upholstered lounge chairs, all brought together with an eclectic mix of artwork.  Statement wall and pendant lighting create a series of cosy corners and elegant dining areas for guests to relax in throughout the day.  A huge mural depicting Tenby features on the back bar.

The name Lansio—Welsh for launch, pays tribute to the Lounge’s coastal setting, just moments from the harbour and lifeboat station.

Designed as a true home‑from‑home, Lansio Lounge will welcome guests from morning through to late evening with its varied and innovative all‑day menu. Whether it’s a catch‑up over coffee, a long, lazy brunch or a relaxed dinner and drinks, Lansio Lounge offers a warm, laid‑back space for every occasion.

Jack Adams, General Manager of Lansio Lounge, said: “We’re so excited to finally be open and welcoming everyone in to experience what we’re all about.  Tenby is such a vibrant, colourful town, and we’re thrilled to become part of its fantastic food and drink scene.  We’re confident our excellent food, great drinks and top‑notch hospitality will go down a treat.”

The all‑day menu spans everything from brunch, tapas, toasties and salads to burgers, tacos, noodles and fried chicken.  Dedicated vegan and gluten‑free menus ensure guests with dietary requirements have plenty of choice.

Lansio Lounge will also run a series of weekly offers, including:

    • Tapas Tuesday – from 5pm: enjoy three tapas dishes plus a glass of house wine, pint of Cruzcampo or soft drink for £14.50.
    • Cheeky Mondays – order any burger, main or salad and receive a complimentary house wine, Cruzcampo, soft drink or pudding.
    • Cocktail Club – every day from 5pm until close.

Families will feel right at home, with games, books, colouring pencils and pads available to keep younger visitors entertained. Highchairs, baby‑changing facilities and a full children’s menu ensure Little Loungers are well looked after.
