An 18-year-old man has been charged after police seized crack cocaine and a number of vehicles during an incident in Cardiff.
Neighbourhood officers from South Wales Police were on foot patrol on Monday morning (March 23) when they spotted an off-road bike being ridden along Ball Lane and the Rhymney River Path.
When an officer attempted to challenge the rider, the individual made off, leading to a foot chase. A suspect was subsequently arrested.
Following the arrest, officers recovered 31 wraps of crack cocaine, four bags of cannabis and three mobile phones.
A scrambler motorbike, e-bike and e-scooter were also seized as part of the investigation.
Harlee Bindon, 18, from Llanrumney, has since been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply cannabis, driving without a licence and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
Bindon appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, March 24, and has been released on conditional bail.
