The Snuts to head to Cardiff for Nothing but Thieves world tour

Chart-topping indie rockers The Snuts will support Nothing But Thieves when they headline TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle this summer.

In celebration of their Number 1 album Dead Club City, Nothing But Thieves will bring their Welcome to The DCC World Tour to the iconic outdoor venue on Wednesday June 19 and it is announced today they will be joined on the night by The Snuts. Opening the show will be punk outfit Bad Nerves.

Future festival headliners in the making, The Snuts are well and truly in their stride. With chart-topping albums under their belts, songs that address subjects affecting the youth of today, and an arsenal of adoring fans across the world, the Scottish four-piece are well on their way to being one of the most vital bands of recent years.

Their debut album W.L. reached the number 1 spot in the charts following its release in 2021 and most recently they released their third studio album Millennials.

Bad Nerves play ferociously fast distorted pop songs. Drawing comparisons to Supergrass, the Ramones and Jay Reatard, they proactively seek to make the type of in-your-face, opposite-of-sterile, rock music that the genre was built on. Their second LP, Still Nervous, is due for release in May.

Nothing But Thieves – singer Conor Mason, guitarist Joe Langridge-Brown, guitarist Dominic Craik, bassist Philip Blake, and drummer James Price – are in huge demand following a brilliantly successful 2023.

A decade into their career the Southend five-piece have never sounded as vital, inspired and blisteringly adventurous as they do on latest album Dead Club City. Their fourth studio album, Dead Club City marked the band’s first number one on the UK album chart and fans can’t get enough of them.

They’re currently on the second leg of the Welcome to the DCC World Tour with more sold out dates in Europe, alongside festival performances and supporting Green Day this summer.

The headlining show for TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle is presented by promoters DEPOT Live and Cuffe and Taylor.

It’s lining up to be a stunning summer for TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle. Nothing But Thieves join indie music legends Manic Street Preachers and Suede and Catfish and the Bottlemen who will both play two consecutive sold-out co-headline shows, and a double-headlining show from US alt rockers The Smashing Pumpkins and Weezer. There will also be headlining shows from IDLES, Paul Heaton, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, JLS, Avril Lavigne, Tom Grennan, Madness, Rick Astley, Crowded House and The National.

For the first time, TK Maxx will join Depot Live as presenting partner, as presenting partner underscoring TK Maxx’s continued support of the arts and local communities.
