The Tools That Can Improve Your E-Commerce Performance

With the eCommerce industry booming, it makes sense to invest in your business and boost your company’s performance. With a bigger reputation, you can create more leads and secure a hefty number of sales that will go towards expansion.

However, you must have the right software in place if you are going to be successful. If the equipment is below-par, it will reflect badly on your brand, and your attempts to be better will bite you on the backside.

As always, it’s about picking the most relevant tools that will eliminate mistakes and provide extra features to enhance the customer experience. Here are four to keep in mind.

    Wix

You can’t have an eCommerce business without a platform, and Wix is the market leader now because it’s simple and easy to use. WordPress is still a competitor, yet its themes aren’t as professional or smooth, making Wix the obvious choice. Just because you have a website, that doesn’t mean you can’t improve it with a few design tactics. Don’t forget that 38% of people won’t engage with a site if the format is visually unappealing. Therefore, it’s vital to play around with the drag-and-drop builder so that your text and multimedia images and videos are on point. With 500+ templates for you to choose from, it will take some time, but it will be worth it!

    Shopify

Shopify is a one-stop-shop for all your eCommerce needs, which is different from another tool on this list – more on that one later. Whatever you can think of, it has, which is perfect for beginners and people who are learning their trade. For example, it’s easy to set up, meaning it won’t be soon before you start selling. And some features integrate with social media marketplaces, such as Instagram and Facebook, and in-person sales. As a result, your reach should grow larger.

    WooCommerce

WooCommerce and Shopify are different because the former isn’t an all-in-one solution. Instead, it appeals to eCommerce owners by adding functionality via the plugins it provides. Depending on what sector you trade in, this means you can tailor your platform’s elements to your niche specifications. An inventory management plugin for WooCommerce is a prime example, since lots of eCommerce software isn’t centred around manufacturing – but with an inventory add-on, this is no longer the case. While WooCommerce isn’t as comprehensive as its rivals, entrepreneurs do love the freedom it offers their customers by curating tailormade features.

    Power BI

Power BI is an analytics tool with a difference. Instead of focusing on industry-standard data, it delves into the world of data visualisation. This means not only will your business be able to derive insights from shoppers, but the info will be accessible 24-7 as the software is cloud-native. Crunching big data has become increasingly important recently, yet the industry has already evolved into something new. Did you know that we all get most of our data from data-driven narrative storytelling, 75% of which will be generated by automated systems? Put into this context, the need for data visualisation analytics programs is imperative, and the demand will only get bigger.

Hopefully these tools will take your eCommerce platform to the next level. Nothing is for certain in the world of business, but choosing the correct equipment puts you one step closer to success.
