    This is when a drive-thru bank is expected to open in Cardiff

    On behalf of W. Wing Yip (London) Limited, Collins Commercial and Fletcher Morgan have secured the first lettings of the first phase at Dragon Retail Park, Newport Road, Cardiff.

    [aoa id=”1″]Dragon Retail Park is the latest addition to the vibrant retail location of Newport Road and will extend to almost 50,000 sq ft of new floor space with on site car parking adjacent to the existing Morrisons food store.

    Metro Bank Plc, the High Street Challenger Bank, have secured a 5,000 sq ft drive through bank which will be the first drive through bank in Wales.[/aoa]

    Wickes DIY

    In addition, Wickes DIY have committed to a new 25,000 sq ft unit satisfying their desire for premises on Newport Road.

    With 2 further units available to let, a drive through A3 unit of 1,800 sq ft, and a self-contained unit adjacent to Wickes of 5,000 sq ft, Dragon Retail Park will provide modern shopping facilities enhancing the overall customer experience. Metro Bank expect to open Christmas 2019, with Wickes following shortly thereafter in Spring 2020.

    Having secured planning permission in March 2019, demolition is complete and construction underway, with the first phase of the scheme due for completion in June 2020

    Metro Bank Plc were represented by Cushman & Wakefield (London) whilst Wickes were represented by E J Hales.
