After a successful first Christmas last year, Tiger Yard’s ‘Winter Wunder-Yard’ is back for 2024 – bringing festive cheer, delicious seasonal street food, and family-friendly activities to Cardiff Bay.

Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from November 1st to December 29th, Tiger Yard will offer something for everyone this winter – from dry ice curling lanes and holiday-inspired menus, to cosy disco booths and seasonal sports screenings.

With additional patio and halogen heaters, complimentary blankets, and enchanting Christmas décor, the holiday lights and seasonal touches at the Winter Wunder-Yard will add extra sparkle to the season’s festivities.

    Dry Ice Curling

Winter Wunder-Yard invites visitors to get into the festive spirit with ten custom-made, under-cover, dry-ice curling lanes. Perfect for friendly competition, each lane accommodates up to eight players, with a minimum booking of three priced at £10 per person.

    Festive Food and Drink Specials

Tiger Yard’s resident vendors have created a range of Winter Wunder-Yard specials in addition to their usual offerings. Seasonal highlights include:

    • Dirty Bird: Santa’s Dirty Bird – buttermilk fried chicken with gravy, grated cheddar, and chili cranberry sauce.
    • Fire and Flank: Festive Burger – with pigs in blankets, brie wedges, and cranberry sauce.
    • Meating Point: Slow-cooked pulled pork shoulder – served with chips, caramelized onions, and rich gravy.
    • Brasco’s Burgers: Lefty’s Xmas Burger – Double smashed patties in a garlic challah bun, topped with brie and chili cranberry sauce.

Guest vendors Khione and Million Dollar Gravy will also join the line-up, serving Italian deli bites and comforting classics like Yorkshire puddings stuffed with braised beef, and tempura pigs in blankets.

Live Sports Screenings & Festive Packages

There will also be live screenings of the Rugby Autumn Internationals and Premier League Football on Tiger Yard’s big screens; visitors can book tables for groups of five or more, with drinks packages available for pre-order.

There will also be an array of holiday packages perfect for gatherings, team nights out, or other festive celebrations this year:

    • Christmas Cocktail Masterclasses: For £30 per person, enjoy a Prosecco on arrival, a Jager Train finale, and plenty of festive cocktail games, suitable for a minimum 8, maximum 16 people.
    • Disco Huts to Hire: For £5 per person, friends can rent out one of Tiger Yard’s cosy hideaway huts, featuring board games, Christmas colouring, mulled wine, and a disco ball, suitable for a minimum of four and maximum of eight people.
    • Bottomless Brunch: £35 per person – enjoy bottomless drinks for one hour, or 90 minutes  – Includes your choice of street food, and one round of curling.
