Four people have been injured following a serious disorder involving a group of youths at Tenby train station.

Dyfed-Powys Police said officers were called to the incident at around 9.50pm on Tuesday, April 7. During the disorder, one individual was reported to be in possession of a knife, resulting in four youths sustaining stab wounds.

All injuries have been assessed as non-life-threatening, and those affected are receiving appropriate medical treatment.

Police confirmed that a 16-year-old youth and a 19-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault. Both remain in police custody while enquiries continue.

British Transport Police are leading the investigation and have primacy for the incident.

A spokesperson said the situation has now been brought under control and the scene is secure. Officers also acknowledged the concern such an incident may cause within the community and confirmed that an increased police presence will remain in the area to provide reassurance.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist the investigation is urged to contact British Transport Police via their website or by calling 0800 40 50 40. Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
