Wales welcome Scotland to the Principality Stadium this afternoon for the latest chapter in their Six Nations rivalry, with kick off set for 16:40 on Saturday, 21st February.
With both sides used to producing tight contests, another close encounter is expected in front of a packed Cardiff crowd.
Recent meetings
Recent history adds extra spice to the fixture.
Wales last beat Scotland in 2022 at home and have not beaten the side since. When the teams met at Murrayfield in Edinburgh in last year’s Six Nations, Scotland edged a thrilling contest 35-29.
The margins between the two nations have often been fine, apart from in 2023 when Scotland secured a commanding 35-7 win. Most other meetings have been far closer, underlining how evenly matched these sides have been in recent seasons.
Wales team to face Scotland
Wales line up with Louis Rees-Zammit at full back, joined in the back three by Gabriel Hamer-Webb and Josh Adams. Eddie James and Joe Hawkins form the centre partnership.

In the pack, Rhys Carre, Dewi Lake (captain) and Tomas Francis make up the front row, with Dafydd Jenkins and Ben Carter in the second row. Taine Plumtree, Alex Mann and Aaron Wainwright complete the back row.

The challenge ahead
Wales will be determined to halt their recent run without a win over Scotland and make home advantage count. Scotland, meanwhile, arrive in Cardiff having had the upper hand in recent meetings.
With previous encounters often decided by fine margins, supporters can expect another fiercely contested Six Nations clash under the roof in Cardiff.
