Wingstop UK, the ultimate experience for iconic wing flavours to enjoy with family and friends, today opens its first site of 2025 in Swansea. To celebrate the eagerly awaited debut, the first 100 guests through the door received free chicken wings.

Located in a prime spot on Wind Street, a hub for restaurants, bars and pubs, the new 2,762 sq. ft site will host 115 covers and add over 70 jobs to the local area. Alongside serving its signature wings and bold flavours, diners can enjoy modern and vibrant interiors complete with curated playlists and customised ordering options.

Wingstop UK has already solidified itself as the go-to chicken wing restaurant in Wales, having proved popular with South Wales locals following the opening of its Cardiff site in 2023. The brand currently operates 57 sites across the UK and employs over 2,500 people, with over 20 new locations expected by the end of the year.

Wingstop UK’s continued popularity is driven by its standout product and unique marketing approach that has garnered a loyal following from a younger demographic. Fans resonate with Wingstop UK’s ties to music, fashion, and sports, which has been created via authentic brand collaborations, partnerships, and events.

Chris Sherriff, CEO at Wingstop UK: “We’re starting the year as we mean to go on with a strong pipeline of new openings, the first of which in Swansea. We’re excited to bring our delicious wings and flavours to more people in South Wales, having proved popular in Cardiff. As we continue our rapid UK expansion journey, I want to say thank you to our loyal customers and the hard work of our teams. We look forward to bringing flavour to the city of Swansea.”
