At around 8.55pm last night (Tuesday 23rd June 2020) emergency services nwere called to a single vehicle collision on the A4232 between Leckwith and Culverhouse Cross Cardiff.

A Silver Saab 93 was the only vehicle involved and its three occupants all suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision.  Two men from the Ely area, aged 31 and 34 years old and a 26 year old woman from the Llandough area were taken to the University Hospital of Wales where they are being treated for their injuries.

Police are urging any potential witnesses, or anyone who was in the area at the time with dash-cam footage, and haven’t provided their details to officers, to make contact with South Wales police on 101 quoting occurrence number 2000222058.

The road was closed for approximately 5 hours whilst the police carried out initial investigations. Members of the public who had their journeys delayed are thanked for their patience.
