Cardiff based FinTech, Yoello has been announced as a regional winner of Tech Nation’s Rising Stars programme.

The award reflects Yoello’s rapid and continued growth – providing the hospitality industry with a cheaper, instantaneous and secure way to manage payments, has gone from strength to strength in the past 12 months as it has helped the hospitality industry navigate the changes in the market following the COVID-19 outbreak.

In its third year, Rising Stars 3.0 is the UK’s only national competition for innovative, early-stage tech companies, designed to showcase the best in the country and to help companies on their growth journey.

The five regional winners for each region and nation across the UK have been selected by a panel of industry experts, and are regarded as tech leaders within their respective regions. These companies will now compete nationally for the chance to be named as one of Tech Nation’s 10 Rising Stars 3.0. The Rising Stars UK Winners will be revealed in February 2021.

Yoello are on track to become one of the world-leading tech companies of tomorrow, using technology to tackle the world’s greatest challenges. The competition provides an opportunity for the best of the nation’s early-stage scaleups to meet leading investors, influencers and corporates.

Sina Yamani, Founder and CEO of Yoello, comments: “We are delighted to be announced as Wales’ Regional Winner of Tech Nation’s Rising Stars. It has certainly been a year to remember for the team here at Yoello, and to build on our recent award wins at the Wales Start-up Awards and Cardiff Business Awards is the perfect way to finish off a successful 2020.”

“The Yoello team has been working hard this year to not just launch our platform, but to ensure we offer continued support for our merchants facing some of the toughest industry limitations of our lifetime. Starting this year with a team of four, to nearly forty full-time members of staff, we are looking ahead to our exciting plans for 2021 and the Tech Nation Rising Stars programme will be an incredible platform to help propel our growth in the new year.”
