One of the UK’s leading timber groups has made three key new appointments as it continues to pursue ambitious growth plans.

Premier Forest Group has appointed Joanne Stark as marketing manager and two new sales executives, John Williams and Mark Jenkins. All three come with a wealth of industry experience and will help the Welsh-headquartered business increase market share and unlock new, profitable avenues.

Joanne, who has been a judge for the Construction Marketing Awards, has an extensive background in construction and distribution marketing and will be integral in helping Premier launch a series of new products.

Joanne said: “It’s great to be joining such an entrepreneurial company with a clear focus on customer service. This is an exciting time for the business and I’m looking forward to helping drive the targeted growth the company has planned.”

Sales executives John and Mark bring with them over 55 years’ experience in the timber sector. During that time, John has specialised in the decorative market, while Mark has built an extensive network across Wales and the south west.

John said: “I’m excited by the breadth of Premier Forest Group’s offering and am keen to help new and existing customers find solutions to their project challenges with Premier’s extensive range of products.”

Mark said: “Premier Forest Group has an excellent reputation across the industry and I’m keen to get my feet under the table and start supporting our customers, through the rest of 2020 and beyond.”

On the trio of new appointments, Joe Walker, Managing Director, said: “At a time when many businesses are reducing their teams, Premier is expanding, which is indicative of the strength and ambitions of the company.

“With our focus on customer service it is vital to us that we have the highest calibre of staff

and I’m confident that Joanne, John and Mark will significantly strengthen our already excellent team.”
