A Cwmbran accountancy firm has been shortlisted for two National Awards for performance and service.

Green & Co Accountants and Tax Advisors have beaten firms across all of the UK to be shortlisted for Medium Practice of the Year and Client Service Firm of the Year at the Accounting Excellence Awards. This news comes fresh off the firm’s win at the 2017 British Accountancy Awards for the Independent Firm of the Year.

Speaking of being shortlisted, Nick Park, Partner, said:

“‘Everyone at Green & Co is both delighted and honoured to be shortlisted for two categories, particularly as we celebrate our 25th anniversary this year. Client care has been a consistent priority in the development and growth of our practice and we are now offering so much more than just compliance services.

“Feedback from our client base has been fantastic, and they will undoubtedly be as pleased as we are to see the dedication and hard work of our staff being recognized by the profession. We are grateful to Sage for acknowledging our vision for the future of accounting services by nominating our practice.  We will, of course, be over the moon to win in either category, but whatever the outcome, we are proud to have, at least, been in the running.”

The awards ceremony will take place on 20th September at the InterContinental in Park Lane, London, where Nick will be joined by his follow-Partners; Barrie Kenyon and Ed Gooderham.

Green & Co, which was established 25 years ago this June, was nominated by software giant Sage, which has a rich history with the firm.

Nick said: “We have a great relationship with Sage which stretches back to 2011; we are delighted that they chose to nominate us. They have been hugely supportive of us over the years, taking the time to attend seminars and educate our clients and if we are successful, we will enjoy toasting the success with our friends at Sage.”
