The Welsh Fitness Awards is delighted to announce EMD UK as feature sponsor for the 2021 Welsh Fitness Awards.

July 9th at the Hilton Hotel in Cardiff sees the fifth annual Welsh Fitness Awards. This year in association with feature sponsor EMD UK, the awards are looking to recognise the fitness professionals and businesses that have risen to the challenge that COVID has presented.

EMD UK – Marketing Manager Sarah Leeves said “EMD UK is the national governing body for group exercise. With a vision of healthier communities through group exercise, EMD UK works with instructors, operators and organisations across the sector to provide help, support and advice to group exercise instructors, to ensure that group exercise continues to inspire people of all ages and abilities to take part in physical activity.”

Welsh Fitness Awards founder – Wesley Skene said “We are incredibly proud to have EMD UK as feature sponsor for the 2021 awards. Not only do they champion the industry and support fitness professionals to make the UK a healthier place to be, they’ve also been incredible through the COVID crisis. EMD UK has fought the corner for the fitness community, lobbying government and defending the fitness industry. If it wasn’t for industry champions like EMD UK, I fear that the fitness industry would still be locked down and prohibited from operating.”

2020 has been a horrendous year for so many in the UK. The awards are an opportunity for those who have refused to be defeated by everything thrown at them to be celebrated at the industry’s most prestigious of nights.

Applications close Friday 28th May, with nominations announced Tuesday 2nd June. To apply go to www.welshfitnessawards.co.uk
