Following significant new client wins in the Swansea area, leading commercial cleaning company Mrs Buckét will be attending the Swansea City Centre Conference and Exhibition with a view to showcasing the business and finding some new recruits.

Mrs Buckét, which was established in Swansea in 2005, has been rapidly expanding, and the company now has up to 100 jobs on offer, ranging from Head of Finance to Cleaning Technician.

The Swansea City Centre Conference and Exhibition is taking place in the Swansea Arena on Thursday 17th March.

Rachael Flanagan, founder and Managing Director said: “Mrs Buckét is proud to be a local business and we are delighted to be attending this event. There’s nothing better than being able to speak to people about what it is that we do – because there’s so much more to it than simply cleaning. Our high-quality cleaning services help businesses throughout South Wales to increase their productivity, reduce costs and sickness rates and raise standards.

“Our client list is ever expanding and now includes some of the very best Welsh businesses, including Wales Millennium Centre, Owens Transport, Cardiff Bus and Cyden. We particularly specialise in the manufacturing sector, but we’re also becoming known for our work in the education sector, especially with high schools.”

Mrs Buckét will also be on the hunt for new recruits as they look to expand the business even further. Kate Ablett, Head of People, said, “People think they know all there is to know about working as a cleaner, but we love meeting people face-to-face at events like this to break down the pre-conceptions.

“Traditionally, cleaning jobs have involved early starts and late nights, as well as gruelling, physical work, but things have changed, especially at Mrs Buckét and we have roles to suit everyone.

“We have staff in Swansea who have been with the company for over a decade. Some of them have worked their way up through the company to become team leaders, site supervisors and account managers and have been supported by Mrs Buckét every step of the way.”

“To anyone debating whether to attend the event, I would suggest that they come along and have a chat. Most of our staff have been in the position that job seekers are in so they can offer insight in an open and honest way. I think people will be pleasantly surprised at what Mrs Buckét has to offer and I’m excited to meet lots of new team members.”

The event is free to attend and will run from 10am – 8pm on Thursday 17th March.
