Fletcher Morgan advised on the sale of the former supermarket in Carmarthen to Wales & West Housing Association.

The 1.1 acre site on Priory Street is to be redeveloped to provide 47 new apartments in four separate buildings around central gardens and a bowling green. The new development will cater for residents over the age of 55 and those in need of supported living as well as being located close to the town centre and local amenities.

The completed development will have a ground Gross Development Value in excess of £8m and has been sympathetically designed in harmony with the surrounding area.

The development will fulfil an identified local need for housing for the over 55’s and those in need of support as well as delivering new jobs.
If the plans are approved work is expected to start this year with the development open to residents in 2023.
