    The Swansea Sports Awards shortlist revealed

    A wide variety of high-performing community and high-profile sports people and organisations have been shortlisted for the 2023 Swansea Sports Awards.

    There were more than 100 nominations, for the Swansea Council-run scheme – and those shortlisted represent a wide variety of community clubs and activities.

    Council cabinet member Robert Francis-Davies said: “The city’s athletes worked hard last year and we enjoy recognising and honouring their achievements and outstanding contributions to sport through the Swansea Sports Awards.”

    Awards night, in association with Freedom Leisure, is due to take place at the Brangwyn Hall from 7pm on Thursday March 28. Tickets on sale from February 1 – enjoyswanseabay.com.
