Thanks to a successful campaign to attract volunteers to run the St Davids’ library on Saturday mornings, the facility will be open for the local community to enjoy.

Customers will be able to use the library’s facilities between 10am and 12pm each Saturday from April 6th 2024.

You can return, borrow, renew, reserve items and use the computer during these hours, which is in addition to the City Library’s regular opening hours of Tuesday and Thursday (10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm).

The Library, which is located in the City Hall, is the first right as you enter the building.

St Davids library Site Coordinator Tracey Johnson said: “Opening on a Saturday with volunteers in the past has been a success, as it attracts families and workers who cannot use the facility in the week. This is fantastic news and we can’t wait to welcome our customers on Saturdays.”

Anyone wishing to put their name forward to be a volunteer can contact Tracey on 01437 776638 or [email protected]
