Some of Britain’s top airborne displays are set to delight crowds at the Wales Airshow on July 6 and 7.
They’ll be enjoyed from the Swansea shoreline by visitors with a new airshow addition – a Veteran’s Village, to honour all ex-service people.
The show’s first day – July 6 – will also include celebrations for Wales Armed Forces Day. The Veteran’s Village supported by the Royal British Legion, will host an array of service-related charities that help our armed forces community, and the public are encouraged to attend and support.
There’ll be a marquee where veterans can talk, relax and seek specialist advice in private over tea and coffee.
In recent weeks it was announced that the Red Arrows and the RAF Typhoon Display Team will be making an appearance at the renowned Swansea Council-organised annual airshow.
There’ll also be many other stars of the skies and a wide range of family fun on the ground, including displays, virtual reality experiences and live music, with more information to be announced soon.

The RBL works with people across our Armed Forces community in Wales, from those currently serving, both regular and reserve, to their families and our ex-serving veterans who continue to contribute to society long after service.
“Wales Armed Forces Day gives us an opportunity to celebrate and to thank our Armed Forces community for all they do for us. The RBL has been supporting them since 1921 and we will continue to support them for as long as they need us.”
