    Rick Astley kicks off summer concert series at Llangollen Pavilion in style

    Rick Astley launched another huge summer of live music in North Wales on Wednesday night with a hit filled performance at TK Maxx presents Live At Llangollen Pavilion.

    The BRIT Award winner opened the 2026 concert series with a sensational show, entertaining thousands of fans with songs spanning his chart topping career.

    Opening with his 2010 hit Lights Out, Rick and his band treated the crowd to fan favourites including Cry For Help, Whenever You Need Somebody, Dance, Raindrops, Angels On My Side, Keep Singing and Together Forever.

    One of the evening’s standout moments came when Rick took to the drums for a performance of AC/DC’s Highway To Hell.

    The show finished with a huge sing along as the crowd joined in for Never Gonna Give You Up, bringing the opening night to a memorable close.

    Joining Rick on the bill were double UK chart toppers Lottery Winners and 80s inspired pop band Deco.

    The eight date TK Maxx presents Live At Llangollen Pavilion 2026 series continues on Thursday night with dance music pioneer Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics.

    The full line-up is:

    • 24 June: Rick Astley, Lottery Winners and Deco
    • 25 June: Pete Tong Ibiza Classics and DJ Paulette
    • 26 June: David Gray and The Divine Comedy
    • 27 June: Billy Ocean, Marti Pellow and Katie Owen
    • 2 July: Super Furry Animals, Panic Shack and Melin Melyn
    • 3 July: Bowling For Soup, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls and American Hi-Fi
    • 4 July: Deacon Blue and Lightning Seeds
    • 5 July: Tom Grennan, Brooke Combe and Fiona Lee
