S2 Recruitment has joined leading businesses at the innovative £20million Menai Science Park on Anglesey.

The company has a big year ahead and is preparing for further growth by opening a new base at M-SParc.
Part of the award-winning Supertemps Group – based in Colwyn Bay and Bangor – S2 Recruitment has enjoyed a busy 2018, launching a new website and working closely with candidates and clients in the IT and executive sectors, targeting roles of £30,000 and above.

Relocating to the island gives them a firm base on which to lay down roots in a prime location at the heart of industry, and both S2 and M-SParc are focused on supporting myriad sectors to boost the economy and create well-paid jobs across the region.

    Managing Director Sarah Ellwood said:

“We are thrilled to be here at M-SParc, an innovative building that has already attracted some of the region’s top organisations.
“There will be an opportunity to network and partner some brilliant companies, and of course it’s a terrific location at the centre of business in north west Wales.
“As we look ahead to 2019 it was a logical step for us to further grow the S2 brand and plan for further expansion into new areas.”

A wholly owned subsidiary of Bangor University, the 5000sqm three-storey facility hosts a state-of-the-art laboratory, office and workshop space, and meeting rooms – as well as a cafe where tenants, their staff and students can mix to share ideas and best practice.

Pryderi ap Rhisiart, Managing Director of M-SParc, said the first 12 months have been a huge success.
There are now 17 companies on the premises, and more to follow in the new year.

“I’m excited to see S2 become a part of the community here at M-SParc, they’ll be a great addition,” said Pryderi.

“We’ve already seen them collaborate and assist some of our tenants and prospective tenants to identify people with the right skill sets to drive their businesses forward.

“Having this resource on site will be invaluable and yet another service for us to offer other tenants in M-SParc.”

He added: “There are now at least 120 people working here and a number of firms actively recruiting.

“We knew there was demand but it has outstripped what we expected so we are obviously delighted and excited for what’s ahead.”
