    Major Jobs Fair coming to Pontypridd this October

    Jobseekers are being invited to meet employers at the Rhondda Cynon Taf Council and Partners Jobs Fair on Thursday 15 October 2026.

    The free event will run from 10am to 2pm at Pontypridd Library, Llys Cadwyn, CF37 4TH, with a quiet hour from 1pm to 2pm.

    Visitors will be able to speak to recruiting employers, find out about current vacancies and start applications on the day. Workshops on interview preparation and CV writing will also be offered, and council staff will be available to advise on careers with Rhondda Cynon Taf Council.

    Roles will be available across a variety of sectors, suitable for people of all ages and experience levels.

    Councillor Maureen Webber, Deputy Leader of Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, said: “Our Jobs Fair’s play an important role in helping residents explore new career opportunities, gain valuable advice and take the next step in their employment journey, while enabling businesses to meet potential candidates and strengthen their workforce.

    Or recent years, our Jobs Fairs have been a huge success in connecting residents with employers who are actively recruiting. We will do all we can to support our residents in securing quality employment opportunities, and it has never been more important in the current economic environment.

    By bringing employers and jobseekers together in one place, we can help create meaningful connections that lead to new careers and support local economic growth.”
