    Nominations open for 2025 Sport Caerphilly Awards

    Nominations are now open for the 2025 Sport Caerphilly Sport Awards and we want to hear from you. Celebrate the incredible contributions of local clubs, coaches, and volunteers by submitting your nominations by 10pm on 22nd August.

    Awards up for nomination include Young Volunteer of the Year (Under 18), Volunteer of the Year, Inclusive Coach of the Year, Community Coach of the Year, Club of the Year, Lifetime Achievement to Sport, Community Club of the Year and Coach of the Year, recognising excellence at every level of sport and physical activity across Caerphilly County Borough.

    The awards evening will be held on Friday 7th November at Bryn Meadows Hotel, Golf and Spa, celebrating the outstanding individuals and teams making a difference through sport and physical activity.

    Cllr Chris Morgan, Cabinet Member for Leisure, said:

    “We want to recognise the passion, dedication and impact of all those who make sport and physical activity thrive in Caerphilly. Whether they coach, organise, or volunteer, every contribution matters. Help us celebrate these unsung heroes by submitting your nomination before the deadline.”
