A man from Swansea has been jailed after he pleaded guilty to stalking a woman and assaulting her and her son.
54-year-old Johnathan Price, from Hafod, led a course of behaviour against his ex-partner beginning in June this year.
When his ex-partner reported his behaviour to police, Price pressured her to retract her statement and also sent several messages to her to the same effect.
He has been sentenced to eight months in prison.
PC Bennett said:
“Johnathan Price conducted a campaign of stalking and harassment against his ex-partner which nobody should have to tolerate.
“The fact that this would turn violent shows that he is a dangerous man. He left the victim worried of what he was going to do next, including whether he would turn up at her address.
“Any form of stalking or harassment is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated by police. Anyone who is experiencing this sort of behaviour should report it to us right away.”
