Caerphilly-based IT and technology solutions specialist Team Metalogic has been ranked 187th in the prestigious MSP 501 list of the world’s top managed service providers. The firm is the only Welsh business to make the 2025 list, placing 11th in the UK and Europe.

The MSP 501, compiled by Channel Futures, recognises the most successful and innovative managed service providers globally, based on performance indicators including revenue growth, recurring revenue, service innovation and client outcomes.

This recognition is particularly significant given the scale of the industry; there are estimated to be more than 150,000 managed service providers worldwide, and the global market, worth nearly $300 billion in 2023, is projected to more than double by 2030.

Team Metalogic has also been named to the Next Generation MSP list, a select group within the MSP 501 spotlighting companies leading the way in adopting cutting-edge technologies and forward-thinking service delivery.

Founded in 2003 by CEO Mike Parfitt with “one laptop and one desk”, the business now employs 17 people and has a turnover of £2.2 million. It works with clients in highly regulated and growth-focused sectors, including community banks, investment firms, law practices, dental businesses, retail and healthcare. Recent highlights include helping one dental practice increase its turnover fifteenfold through strategic technology planning.

Mike Parfitt, CEO and Founder, said:

“The MSP 501 is recognised as the global benchmark for excellence among managed IT service providers. It’s an honour to represent Wales on a global stage and to see our name alongside some of the biggest and most respected providers in the industry.

“This recognition is about our results, but the real reason we achieve them is our people. Our culture, our shared purpose and our commitment to building long-term relationships are what make the difference.”

    He added:

“When I started, we offered traditional IT support. Today, we’re a strategic growth partner for ambitious businesses. Whether they have two employees or two hundred, we align the right technology to their goals so they can grow faster, work smarter and do it more sustainably.

“That’s why I believe we’ve been recognised as a Next Generation MSP. We take pride in helping our clients achieve their ambitions, and that’s incredibly rewarding for our committed team.”

Parfitt believes the strength of Team Metalogic’s culture is what keeps clients and staff loyal. He said:

“You can have the best technology in the world, but it’s the people behind a business who make it work. Our team’s drive, care and shared sense of purpose are our real differentiators. They’re the reason clients stay with us, trust us, and grow with us.

“To rank 187th in the world and 11th in the UK and Europe is something we’re hugely proud of. With more than 150,000 managed service providers worldwide, it’s a real achievement to stand out at this level. It reflects not only how far we’ve come, but also the trust our clients place in us every day.”
