Swansea is bursting into festive spirit as a trio of major Christmas attractions take place across the city.

The celebrations include the Christmas Parade, the Victorian Christmas Fayre and the return of Waterfront Winterland.

Organised by Swansea Council in partnership with LSD promotions, the Victorian Christmas Fayre lasts until Sunday November 23.

Visitors can expect around 50 artisan stalls, Victorian-costumed traders, street food, roaming entertainment and live performances on Oxford Street, Portland Street and Princess Way.

Waterfront Winterland also returns to Museum Park from Friday November 21. It includes a covered ice rink, funfair rides and a giant wheel, as well as an Alpine-style bar, festive food stalls and a Christmas tree maze.

Organised by Swansea Council, the Christmas Parade with a new route for this year starts at 5pm from the Guildhall on Sunday November 23. It’ll feature Santa switching the Guildhall to festive red, fireworks, over 40 community groups, floats, dancers, and comic book and fairytale characters.

There’ll also be live on-stage entertainment at the Guildhall and outside the Dragon Hotel, as well as the official switch-on of Swansea’s Christmas lights.

Cllr Rob Stewart, Swansea Council Leader, said: “These events mark the start of a truly magical festive season in Swansea.

“From the Victorian charm of our new Christmas Fayre to the sparkling lights of Waterfront Winterland and the joy of our Christmas Parade, these events bring together community, tradition, and sparkle.

“We hope families and visitors will join us to make memories, support our local traders, and celebrate the very best of Swansea at Christmas.”

After leaving Guildhall, this year’s Christmas Parade will then travel down St Helen’s Road, the Kingsway, College Street, Castle Street and Caer Street before finishing on Princess Way.
