Insole Court Trust (ICT), the charity that operates Insole Court mansion and gardens in Llandaff, Cardiff, has recently appointed a new permanent Director.

Graham Hill has been appointed as Director after the charity Board of Trustees carried out an external recruitment process. Earlier this year, the previous Director resigned to pursue a new role at the National Trust, and Graham has been the acting Business Manager during the interim period.

He first joined Insole Court as the Marketing and Business Development Manager in 2016, bringing with him a wealth of charity communications and marketing experience from his previous role at Chapter Arts Centre.

Commenting on his new role, Director, Graham Hill, said:

“I’m delighted and honoured to be appointed as Director. Our dedicated staff, trustees and volunteers have helped to establish Insole Court as an exciting new destination for visitors and a valuable community asset.

“It is a privilege to represent them and I look forward to helping the charity reach its full potential. I’d like to thank our trustees for their faith and support and I’d also like to thank our previous Director, Meg Anthony for the tremendous foundation she built in our first two years.”

On Graham’s appointment, Insole Court Chairman, Sir Norman Lloyd-Edwards said: “I am delighted to announce that the Board has unanimously appointed Gray Hill to be our new Director, following an external advertisement and widespread recruitment process.

“We are confident that he will continue our progress in making Insole Court one of the best attractions for our local community and South Wales.”

Insole Court recently celebrated a formal recognition and celebration of their contributions to heritage, after winning the Public Vote in the prestigious Heritage Angel Awards.
