THE team at a Merthyr Tydfil opticians is celebrating after winning a top industry award.
Specsavers Merthyr Tydfil, which is locally owned and run, has won the Excellence in Dispensing category at the Awards for Excellence. The annual awards recognise the achievements and professionalism of Specsavers stores across the UK and Ireland.
Led by directors Richard Dyson and Brian Borland, the store’s dispensing team is responsible for fitting customers with glasses or contact lenses based on prescriptions from optometrists. They advise on lens types, materials and frame styling to suit the individual needs of customers, ensuring proper fit and comfort.
Through these elements and more the team have demonstrated their unwavering commitment to our community by delivering the highest standards of dispensing excellence providing moments of wonder to all.
