Law firm JCP Solicitors is expanding its Lifetime Planning team in Carmarthen, appointing India Ford as an Associate Solicitor.

Based in the firm’s Parc Pensarn office, India Ford takes on the role to support clients with complex Will drafts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, probate, deeds of variation and Court of Protection applications.

Following her studies at Swansea University and volunteer roles with Age Cymru, India completed her training contract at Thomas and Thomas Solicitors in 2026.

Now joining JCP Solicitors during the firm’s 35th anniversary year, India’s appointment represents the firm’s continued growth and development across the region.

India joins Alice Rowlands, Senior Associate Solicitor in the Lifetime Planning team, and Beverly Bowen, Director and Head of Lifetime Planning for Swansea and West Wales. India will support Alice with lifetime planning, probate, administration of estates, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. She will also develop her skills to support Beverley with succession planning, probate matters, trusts and inheritance tax management, with particular focus on providing specialist legal advice for parents with disabled children.

India Ford said: “I’m delighted to be joining such a well-respected firm here in Carmarthen, supporting clients with all areas of lifetime planning. Making a Will and selecting Lasting Powers of Attorney can make all the difference for clients, futureproofing their plans and ensuring their wishes are followed.

“The firm has a strong reputation for promoting from within and creating long-term career opportunities for ambitious legal minds, so I’m looking forward to working closely with clients whilst learning from the senior team at JCP and developing further in my career.”

Beverley Bowen, Director and Head of Lifetime Planning in the Carmarthen team, said: “Growing the team here in Carmarthen is a strategic step for the business, and we know India will bring a keen eye for detail and strong enthusiasm to the team.”
