Hundreds of young entrepreneurs from schools across Swansea will set up shop in the city centre this Friday.
Around 50 primary, secondary and further education settings are taking part in the Swansea Primary School Enterprise Challenge 2026.
The pop-up market will run from 9am to 2pm on Oxford Street, between Y Storfa and Portland Street, with a wide range of pupil-made products on sale.
Led by Alison Williams of Craigfelen Primary School, alongside Swansea Council’s Careers and Work Related Experience team, the initiative aims to develop essential life skills in young people.
Local businesses supporting the Swansea Pledge have also worked closely with schools, offering workshops, mentoring and real-world experiences to help pupils understand future career pathways and build practical skills.
Teachers have benefited from professional development led by Professor Andy Penaluna, focusing on embedding key skills from the Curriculum for Wales — including creativity, collaboration and problem-solving — to help prepare learners for life and work.
Pop along and pick-up a bargain if you are in the city centre on Friday.
