Wales is set for a changeable week of weather, with rain and drizzle giving way to brighter spells before conditions turn fresher and increasingly windy.
According to the Met Office forecast for Monday to Friday, the week will begin largely cloudy before sunshine develops in places, with further showers expected as the week progresses.
Monday will see largely cloudy skies across Wales, with a few outbreaks of rain or drizzle possible at times.
Conditions are expected to become drier and brighter during the afternoon, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 21°C. It will feel warm and humid where sunshine breaks through.
Monday evening is forecast to start dry with some clear spells before cloud increases and outbreaks of rain arrive.
Some heavier bursts of rain are possible overnight, although northern parts of Wales should start to turn drier towards dawn. Temperatures could fall to around 10°C.
Tuesday will get off to a cloudy and wet start, with outbreaks of rain moving south across Wales during the morning.
The weather should improve into the afternoon, becoming drier and brighter with sunny spells developing. Showers will remain possible, particularly in western areas, with temperatures reaching around 18°C.
Looking further ahead, the Met Office expects conditions to remain changeable from Wednesday through to Friday.
Sunshine and showers are forecast to spread across Wales, while conditions will feel fresher than at the start of the week.
Winds are also expected to strengthen as the week progresses.
