Cymru Women will play Albania at Parc y Scarlets in Llanelli in a 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup play-off.

The match takes place on Tuesday 13 October, with kick-off at 7.15pm.

Cymru return to Llanelli after beating Montenegro at Parc y Scarlets in March during the group stages of the World Cup qualifying campaign.

Carmarthenshire County Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Leisure, Culture and Tourism, Cllr Hazel Evans, said: “Following the success of Cymru Women’s visit to Parc y Scarlets earlier this year, we are delighted to welcome the team back to Carmarthenshire for another significant fixture.”

Cllr Evans added: “Hosting international sporting events of this calibre brings visitors to the county, showcases our excellent facilities and highlights Carmarthenshire’s ability to host major occasions. It is also a fantastic opportunity for local communities to see elite athletes competing at the highest level and to celebrate the continued growth of women’s sport.”

Tickets for the match are available through the Football Association of Wales.
