Sn-ap brings on-demand intercity coach travel to Cardiff

On-demand coach provider, Sn-ap, is launching in Cardiff, running services to London from 28th April.

Sn-ap connects intercity travelers with high quality premium coaches usually reserved for elite sports teams, executive travel and luxury tours.

To promote the new service, Sn-ap is offering a free trial return trip between Cardiff and London to all new customers. Vouchers are being handed out from one of its luxury coaches situated on Working Street on Monday 23rd April from 11am-3pm. New customers can also apply for their free trial journey via Sn-ap’s website sn-ap.com/cardiff.

Thomas Ableman, founder of Sn-ap, has spent the last fourteen years working within the transport sector and set up Sn-ap in 2016 after spotting a widening gap in the market. He explains:

“Problem #1 with transport is a severe lack of choice, which leads to high fares, inflexible timetables and poor service. I could see rising demand, yet intercity travel is exactly like it was 30 years ago.”

“Coach is the ideal intercity travel solution: it’s environmentally sound and cost-effective to run. We can pick-up and drop-off at a variety of flexible locations, rather than taking you to a fixed terminus, you don’t want to go to and – thanks to new technology – you can manage the whole experience on your mobile.”

Sn-ap uses customer star ratings to select the very best coaches and drivers from top-quality independent coach operators.  Already the serviceboasts the highest customer satisfaction of any travel and transport business in the UK with 9/10 reviewers rating it 5-star; beating incumbent transport brands hands down.

Sn-ap is already live in Nottingham and Bristol and plans to expand to a further five UK cities in the coming months. By the summer, Sn-ap predicts over 100,000 people will be on-demand intercity coach travellers.

Sn-ap’s concept is anywhere to anywhere, anytime and is operated on an on-demand basis, meaning trips only run when there is enough demand, keeping prices low. Sn-ap uses machine learning to predict the dates, times and routes that people wish to travel and to set the optimal price.
