One of Europe’s leading WordPress agencies, Illustrate Digital, has some major expansion plans for 2020, including opening their first office outside of Wales.

The Cardiff-based company, who took home a Cardiff Life Award for Best Business Service earlier in the year, are now expanding and opening their second office near the main train station in Bristol, Temple Meads, so that the team can have access to their growing client base.

    The Illustrate Digital team

Bristol was Illustrate’s first choice for a sister office as it is one of the key drivers of the digital economy, with great universities and a thriving tech community. As a digital business, illustrate has a need to be near close talent in the industry.

Illustrate Digital’s main areas of expertise are strategising, designing, developing and maintaining websites using the WordPress platform. The agency has core customers in the UK, Europe and the USA in varying industries such as financial services, law and insurance and operate both B2B and B2C channels.

Scott Jones, Managing Director of Illustrate Digital, says:

“Bristol provides a number of great opportunities for us to hire great team members. In order for our agency to be a success, we need a steady stream of user experience designers and both front-end and back-end/PHP developers.

“Those new to the industry can learn from our expertise as one of Europe’s leading WordPress agencies, whist those with existing experience can work on exciting, challenging projects for some of the world’s best brands.”

The team have recently been nominated for ‘Best Enabling Tech Company’ at this year’s FinTech Awards Wales for some of their work with Hodge Bank and Pure Commercial Finance, with further partnerships and integrations with finance tech providers like PayPal and Codeweavers.

Illustrate Digital’s expansion plans include aims to hire at least six new people by the end of the year consisting of developers, a UX Designer and an Account Manager. One of the newest team members is one of the organisers of ‘Bristol WordPress People’, the city’s WordPress meet-up now with over 1,000 members.

Their new Bristol office based in Runway, a popular workplace for scaling companies that offer flexibility, will be open from January 13th. They will also be hiring for their new positions over on their website’s careers page.
