Foresight Group, a leading private equity and infrastructure investment manager, announces a further £1.1 million growth capital investment into portfolio company Tudor Group Limited to fund the acquisition of Wales-based cleaning contractor, A Quality Service Limited.

Based in Manchester, Tudor is an established facilities management provider which offers window cleaning, general cleaning and ancillary maintenance services to more than 100 customers nationwide including Transport for Greater Manchester, Hilton, Radisson and Marriott.

Established in 2011, AQS is a specialist cleaning contractor, founded by Robin Kinrade and Gillian Edwards who used their extensive experience in the cleaning industry to set-up a business centred on delivering the highest quality of service to customers.  Like Tudor, AQS focuses on providing cleaning services to prestigious clients, which include high profile sporting venues and stadiums, operating throughout Wales and the South West of England.

Since Foresight made its original investment in 2016, Tudor has worked hard to scale operations, introducing improvements to health and safety, finance and IT systems.  The acquisition of AQS will allow it to grow revenues further by offering additional services to AQS’ established customer base predominantly in Wales and the South West. In addition, AQS has a substantial pipeline of opportunities that Tudor will be able to develop.

Commenting on the investment, Claire Alvarez, Director at Foresight, said: “We are delighted to be able to support Tudor in its next phase of growth.  AQS will be a valuable asset to the Company and will enable Tudor to increase its scope and reach into Wales and beyond.  It has been a pleasure to work alongside the management team since our investment in 2016 and we look forward to continuing to support them and their growth ambitions in the future.”

Fabien Caqueret, Managing Director at Tudor, added: “The addition of AQS and its customer relationships to the Tudor Group’s own portfolio of five-star customers represents a fantastic opportunity to consolidate years of expertise within the industry and provides a genuine platform for growth.  Gillian, Robin and the AQS team have an impressive track record of delivering outstanding services to many blue chip organisations, with a real focus on providing exceptional customer service.   I am delighted to welcome them to the team, and I am truly looking forward to working with them.”
