Principality Building Society has appointed Julia Debattista as New Build Business Development Manager in support of its commitment to the new build sector.

Julia joined the Society as a Senior Underwriter in 2015 and joined the Intermediary Sales Team as a desk-based business development manager, where she has developed a passion for the new build and affordable housing sector. In her new role Julia will be developing the Society’s new build proposition and supporting new build broker firms throughout England and Wales.

    Julia said:

“When it comes to the pressures of buying a new build property, we know it’s important to keep things clear and simple and we understand the need to answer questions quickly. Service is key, which is why I will be looking at making further improvements to our underwriting process as a priority in my new role.”

Emma Graham, Key Account Manager at Principality Building Society, said:

“Julia is another key appointment in supporting our brokers and networks. Her enthusiasm and experience will be vital in helping us to maintain our efforts in the new build sector.

“We’ve recently expanded what we have to offer for people buying new build homes, with our Help to Buy England product launch and our 90 per cent loan-to-value product on new build houses and flats. It forms part of our commitment to supporting a wide range of borrowers to buy their own home.”
