Ross McEwan, CEO of NatWest, will open a special event in South Wales next week, which aims to help local businesses and their workforces become more resilient.

The NatWest Cymru Boost Your Business event will take place at the Exchange Hotel in Cardiff Bay on July 4 and will bring together an expert line-up of entrepreneurs and business people who have each overcome experiences of adversity in business to become more resilient.

They include Microsoft’s Alison Wright, who leads the company’s UK Azure business; Recycle Scooters founder Helen Walbey, who is chair of the Welsh Government Women in Enterprise taskforce; and wellbeing life coach Nick Elston. The free event will also feature a market place where attendees will be able to network and meet other businesses.

[bs-quote quote=” Entrepreneurs, business owners and managers are used to making sure their firms can withstand challenges and bounce back from the bad times. But to do this those at the top need to be able to foster resilience too – and they need to ensure their workforce is fit, happy and capable of dealing with the pressures and stresses of the job.

At our NatWest Cymru Boost Your Business event attendees will hear from those who have tackled adversity, started businesses, and survived challenging times in some of the largest ones to become more resilient in their workplace and in doing so learn how they can take these experiences into their own working lives to help improve them.” style=”style-2″ align=”center” color=”#382a4f” author_name=”Gemma Collins” author_job=”NatWest Cymru Business Growth Enabler” author_avatar=”https://www.wales247.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/gemma-collins.jpg” author_link=”https://www.linkedin.com/in/gemma-collins-272a6a21/”][/bs-quote]
