
The historic city centre venue was transformed into a haven for rock fans as the festival’s first edition brought together an impressive line up of established and emerging acts.

Joining Alter Bridge on the bill were Welsh favourites Skindred, alongside US rock outfit Mammoth, Welsh trio Florence Black and the soulful sounds of Cardinal Black, creating a day packed with high energy performances.

The Blackbird Festival marks another milestone for TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle, which this year is hosting a record breaking 24 headline shows featuring some of the biggest names in music.
The concert series continues on Tuesday, 30 June, when global pop superstar Katy Perry takes to the stage at Cardiff Castle.
