Police are appealing for witnesses after a driver failed to stop and travelled on the wrong side of the road in Swansea.

South Wales Police said the incident happened at around 3.50pm on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

Officers were dealing with a failure to stop involving a white Citroen DS3, registration LR13 AXV, which was heading down Fabian Way.

During the incident, the driver travelled down the wrong side of the road on the contraflow before rejoining the correct side of the carriageway and then joining the M4 at Junction 42 eastbound.

Police are now asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has dashcam or CCTV footage from around the time it happened, to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact South Wales Police quoting reference number 2600049631.

Information can be provided online via the South Wales Police website, by calling 101, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. Always call 999 in an emergency.
