Paul Quinn has been jailed for exposing his genitals in Cardiff city centre. The 44-year-old also pleading guilty to stealing hot food from Greggs on Queen Street. Officers recognised Quinn from CCTV of the offences, and he was arrested in Albany Road, Roath, on Monday afternoon. Within 24 hours he appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court where earlier this week (Tuesday, February 10) he was sentenced to 16 weeks imprisonment. Swansea Council has secured a £20m UK Government grant to support a 10‑year programme aimed at revitalising the High Street and Dyfatty area. A steel signing ceremony was held this week as construction of the city’s new leisure and wellbeing centre reaches its latest stage. Aspiring apprentices across Wales will soon be able to benefit from new construction apprenticeships, helping fill skills gaps identified by the industry. Following engagement with apprenticeship providers, industry and learners, Level 2 apprenticeship pathways in bricklaying, site carpentry, scaffolding and building maintenance will be available later this year. The apprenticeship courses are being introduced by tertiary education funder and regulator, Medr following funding from Welsh Government.
